2009 Small Business Awards Program postponed due to state funding reductions Tuesday, September 08, 2009 Due to the level of uncertainty with respect to the state budget process, the Pennsylvania Small Business Development Center program is also left with concerns about available resources.  Many of our public and private sector partners/sponsors have been impacted by this as well.  Overall sponsorship commitments are drastically down, which help offset the costs of hosting the event. With serious consideration and regret, we would like to formally announce that the annual 2009 Small Business Awards celebration will be postponed until October 2010.  For all the SBDC team members, board members and partners that have submitted nominations, this is certainly appreciated!  We will be automatically forwarding these nominations to the 2010 process.  Please mark your calendars for 2010 as we prepare to unveil a new awards program enhanced with celebration to honor the incredible business owners and teams of employees throughout Crawford, Erie, Mercer and Warren counties.  Thank you again for support and commitment to small business development.
