12th Annual Wild Conference To Feature Two Keynote Speakers

Published: 11-Apr-2019

We’re excited about the 12th annual Women In Leadership Development (WILD) Conference, Thursday, May  2, 2019,  8 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Ambassador Banquet and Conference Center, 7794 Peach St., Erie. This year, the theme is inspiration and in a stroke of inspiration, WILD 2019 will have not one but two keynote speakers.

The conference will open with an address from a face familiar to WILD attendees and indeed all of northwestern Pennsylvania.  Former television anchor Karla Wludyga, Executive Coach and Senior Management Consultant with PRADCO in Cleveland. Closing WILD 2019 will be author and entrepreneur Donna Reese.  Since leaving Erie for Florida, she has become an author of two books, “Voices of the 21st Century: Women Who Influence, Inspire, and Make a Difference” with Gail Watson and, as Donna Rae, “Don’t Tell Me I Can’t,” an inspiring story of triumph over difficulties.

There will be four breakout sessions, two each on the topics of leadership and marketing.  Leadership speakers will be Karinna Vernaza, Ph.D., Interim Dean of the College of Engineering and Business at Gannon University, and Tiffanie Page-Collazo, Founder/CEO, Diverse Collaborations & Consulting, LLC. Dr. Vernaza will talk about Cultivating Diversity while Ms. Page-Collazo’s talk is entitled The P.A.U.S.E., an intriguingly different way to envision success.

Marketing speakers include Mike Richwalsky, Principal with Cleveland and U.K.-based agency Gas Mark 8, Ltd., who will survey What’s New and Next In Digital and Social Marketing In 2019 and Beyond. Bryan Whittington of Peak Performance Management in Pittsburgh, returns to WILD for Sales & Marketing Alignment--What Is It, Why Should I Care and How Can It Make Me More Profitable?

Celebrating its 12th anniversary, WILD is a national conference expected to draw more than 200 women for a day of inspiration, motivation, networking and professional development.  There will be breakout sessions consisting of workshops, seminars and panel discussions by community and business leaders from throughout the region.  Breakfast and lunch will be served.

Tickets for the event are $75 and are available at www.WILDConf.org.
