Gannon University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides no-cost consulting services to entrepreneurs and small business owners. Our consultants can assist with:

  • Identifying and analyzing local markets

  • Reviewing and strengthening business plans

  • Clarifying compliance and regulatory issues

  • Exploring funding options and preparing loan packages

  • Developing marketing and digital strategies

  • Improving financial management and cash flow

Whether you’re launching a startup or expanding an existing business, the SBDC is here to support your success. All services are provided to the public on a non-discriminatory basis.

Our work is made possible through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Community & Economic Development Partnerships for Regional Economic Performance, and the continued support of our host institution, Gannon University, where we have proudly served the region for 45 years.

The Gannon University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is dedicated to promoting economic growth and success in our community. We provide confidential, one-on-one consulting to help entrepreneurs and small business owners with:

  • Government contracting guidance

  • Technology and innovation

  • Financial management and planning

Thanks to support from our University and government partners, our consulting services are offered at no cost to the client.

In addition to consulting, we provide low-cost training events and workshops designed to strengthen your business knowledge and give you tools you can apply immediately. Whether you are starting a new venture or managing an existing business, the SBDC is here to help guide you toward a more successful future.
