About the Event
For small businesses new to (or anxious about) the lending process, the loan application can seem like a collection of intimidating documents. This session will unpack the loan application documents and help participants understand what these documents mean. Our experts will walk you through various documents and explain how each document can boost your capital readiness and increase your business's financial understanding. You may not need each document to pursue a funding opportunity, but the information presented will improve your overall business knowledge. Listed are some of the documents we will walk through in the session:
· Profit and Loss Statement
· Balance Sheet
· Personal Finance Statement
· Business Planning Documents
· Financial Projections
· Application and intake forms
· Debt Schedule
The Gannon Small Business Development Center and Bridgeway Capital present a three-part series, "Funding your Business." This series will help emerging entrepreneurs and established small business owners prepare for and access the funding they need to grow sustainably and successfully.
Participating in this series will prepare entrepreneurs who are ready to seek and obtain funding. For entrepreneurs on the fence about financing, this series will help them develop tools and techniques for keeping up their businesses' financial health.
