The first step to starting a successful new venture is to attend the  SBDC "First Step" workshop. Learn the steps necessary to start, manage,  and grow your own business. Topics discussed: 

• Lifestyle requirements  that are involved in owning a business 

• How to assess the feasibility  of your business ideas 

• Difference between business organizations and  structures 

• How to develop a business plan 

• How to obtain financing

    Single Registration for the September 2nd First Step seminar from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at 900 State Street, Erie, PA. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the start of the seminar to sign in.
