Let’s face it, as a small business owner, you are managing multiple projects every day. Whether simple or complex, you need to understand all aspects of how to build, refine, and improve your management skills to meet customer expectations. Strong project management helps small businesses effectively utilize their resources and funds!

Topics covered:

Current State Mapping – How to objectively analyze your current practices in order to prioritize changes or improvements.

What is a project?  Defining the difference between operational tasks, continuous improvement, and maintenance versus a project.

Prioritization methods for your projects-scoring methods you can use to make sure you choose the project with the best overall return on your investment of time, money, and resources.  Including a brief discussion on portfolio management.

Scheduling your project, including developing tasks, and calculating the project duration and slack.
