Women In Sports

In partnership with the Erie Sports Center, Gannon University Small Business Development Center proudly presents the Inaugural Women In Sports Luncheon on Thursday, August 31st, 2023, in Erie, PA. This regional luncheon is designed to support and empower girls and women of all ages to reach their fullest potential through sports.

The event celebrates females on all levels of sport participation- the sideline mom, the team sponsor, the manager of programs, the coach, and the athlete.  Whether on the court or the sideline, female involvement is critical to this generation's success and those to come. And we don’t mean just success in sports right now- studies show that youth who participate in sports are more likely to bring leadership, management, and teamwork skills to their positions at work and in the community.

The event will feature raffles, signature cocktails, lunch, and panel discussions.

All monies raised will go to young women in underserved local communities.
